Those pots are composed of 80% wood fiber, primarily Spruce (Picea Abies), as well as some peat and limestone. They do not contain any synthetic glues or binders.
Truly organic, they can be buried directly with the plant in a larger pot or in your yard and will safely biodegrade from there. As the plant is never removed from the pot, there is no transplant shock.
There are no drain holes since the water drains through the porous walls of the pot. As the pot is porous, it allows the plant to develop a more naturally formed root structure (the roots will penetrate the walls of the pot and, as they encounter air on the outside of the pot, they will branch laterally instead of growing forward)
